First Grade - White sap-wood face, relatively uniform in colour and free of facial defects
Prime Grade - Varying natural colour of white sap and light brown heartwood
Factory Grade - Full range of colour including mineral streaks and sound knots
Mill Run Grade - All grades as developed without sorting for colour
Red Oak:
Select and Better Grade - Relatively uniform colour with natural variations
#1 Common Grade- Full range of colour including sapwood, mineral streaks and sound knots
Mill Run Grade - All grades as developed without sorting for colour
White Oak:
Prime Grade - Relatively uniform colour with natural variations
